The latest volume of the NYIL focuses on international legal responses to the global environmental crisis.

The new Netherlands Yearbook of International Law with the theme A Greener International Law—International Legal Responses to the Global Environmental Crisis has been released.

Our ACCJ member, Merle Kooijman, wrote a contribution titled, ‘From Anthropos to Oikos in International Criminal Law: A Critical-Theoretical Exploration of Ecocide as an ‘Ecocentric’ Amendment to the Rome Statute’. It argues that an ecocentric core crime cannot redeem ICL’s anthropocentric conditions.
